On the one hand we talk about women freedom in society but on the other hand society has many misbeliefs about menstruation. The girl who enters into young age or start menstruating have many psychological and physical problems. Mostly the problems are less compared to misconceptions about menstruation. So to clear the misconceptions about menstruation and with an aim that all the people should get correct knowledge about menstruation and menstrual cycles and its related issues, we started “Masika Jagar Abhiyan”.
In association with Sushma Satpute we have made a short film that provides the appropriate knowledge about menstruation. We are showing the video in the schools to the girls across the Maharashtra.
