Sports play an important role in the overall development of any village. It is always a matter of pride for the village that the athletes of their village are competing out there. That’s why a government summer sports training camp has been organized by the District Sports Officer Office, Taluka Sports Officer Office, Pune and District Sports Complex Committee for school athletes in rural and urban areas of Baramati Taluka. The camp was inaugurated yesterday (on 15th). Deputy Superintendent of Police Mr. Bapusaheb Bangar, Tehsildar Shri. Hanumant Patil, Mayor Mrs. Poornima Towers, Baramati City Nationalist Congress President Mr. Imtiaz Shikilkar, Vice Chairman Baramati Bank Shri. Avinash Lagad, Taluka Sports Officer Rajesh Bagul, Dada Awad, parents and players were also present on this occasion. It is certain that all the participating sportsmen will take advantage of this training camp and try to develop their sports skills by manifold.
