Today, on 30th July 2017, the land-worship ceremony of various development works worth Rs. 55 to 56 lakhs for roads, sewerage scheme, assembly hall, burial ground protection wall, drinking water pipeline, street lights in village of Katewadi, was convened at the blessed hands of President of Baramati Hi-Tech Textile Park, Mrs. Sunetra Vahini, the pioneer of cleanliness. The Sarpanch of Katewadi village Mrs. Gauri Kate, Deputy Sarpanch Mrs. Jayashree Sutar, Assistant Group Development Officer Mr. More, Village Development Officer Balasaheb Bhoite, all Gram Panchayat members of Katewadi village, and the villagers were present in large numbers on this occasion.
