On the occasion of Vidya Pratishthan, Supe’s Academic Complex’s Anniversary and World Forest Week, tree plantation was done in the Mauje Supe Dandawadi area, Chhappan Miri’s Mahadeo Hills and Mahadev Mandir area, with the participation of students, teachers and college students of Vidya Pratishthan Arts, Commerce Science College, Supe, and the English Medium School as well as members of the Environmental Forum India and the villagers of Dandawadi Gram Panchayat. As many as 200 trees have been planted on this mountain. Also, young children who have been newly admitted in schools were welcomed with flowers and snacks. Many dignitaries including President of Environmental Forum of India Mrs. Sunetra Vahini Pawar, Secretary of Vidya Pratishthan Sanstha D. R. Unde, Trustee Adv. Nilima Gujar, Srikant Sikchi, Zilla Parishad Member Mr. Bharat Khaire, Panchayat Samiti Member Mrs. Nita Tai Barwakar, Sarpanch Mrs. Pragatitai Nagre, Principal Hon. Bharat Shinde, Principal Yogesh Patil, and Rahul Patil were present on this occasion. Speaking in admiration of this praiseworthy activity, Sunetra tai Pawar expressed that we should work for the mute animals and birds, and various other elements of nature. She went on to say that we have to take initiative for the preservation of birds and animals seen around us every day.
