Tablet devices were distributed to 150 students of the Zilla Parishad School of Shiv Vidya Prasarak Mandal’s Baal Vikas Mandir in Kasba and Jogwadi in a program organized by Akshay Foundation, Someshwar at Rashtravadi Bhavan, Baramati this morning. This noble initiative has been undertaken by R. N. Shinde and his wife, who had lost their son Akshay Shinde to a heart attack three years ago. The couple did not allow their son’s untimely demise to leave them devastated. Instead, they have since then nurtured a constant desire to do something for the society. Our best wishes for their magnanimous work. If India wants to become a superpower, everyone should start from themselves. It is important to see what we are giving to the society rather than how much the society has given to us. The Shinde family is setting an example for the society by following this path. The President of Akshay Foundation R. N. Bapu Shinde, Pune ZP Member Pramod Kakade, Panchayat Committee Chairman Sanjay Bhosale, Deputy Speaker Sharda Kharade, Mayor Mrs. Poornima Tavere, Deputy Mayor Jay Patil, Group Leader Sachin Satav, NCP Taluka President Sambhaji Holkar, city president Imtiaz Shikilkar, corporators of the city of Baramati, social workers, other citizens as well as the
students and teachers of Shiv Vidya Prasarak Mandal’s Baal Vikas Mandir in Kasba and Jogwadi were present at this occasion.
